About the Original Nkoded Software
The purpose of Nkoded Software was to create a variety of games that would be open source and freely distributed through our website. Unfortunately we had motivational and schedule conflicts along with programming roadblocks and financial difficulties which eventually lead to Nkoded Software's demise.
History of the Original Nkoded Software
In the spring of 2003 two employees of a Burger King franchise, Joel Grunwald and David Pernu, began contemplating a game for the texas instruments TI-89 model calculator. Their ideas soon expanded to a PC version of their game. During the summer of 2003 they began consulting Justin Fisher about how to properly structure a company to support their new business. David Pernu became Nkoded Software's president, Joel Grunwald was the vice president, and Justin Fisher was the the chief financial officer.
David Pernu was currently going to school for software development and therefore completed all programming projects for Nkoded Software. Joel Grunwald excelled in drawing and also had a great imagination. Joel developed the majority of our story lines and created our graphics and music. Justin Fisher kept the company organized, maintained office equipment, and managed all reports. Friends of the founders also contributed to Nkoded Software with story lines, graphical designs, music, and legal aspects.
In January of 2004 tensions between Dave, Joel, and Justin grew to an unbearable level and all parties decided to withdraw from Nkoded Software. All company property was distributed to the owners equally and files were given to those who contributed in their creation. At the time of liquidation Nkoded Software had about five projects started and one was about half way completed.
